HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

LS Quarry is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors and visitors and are of equal importance to all other operational considerations. 

We work together to ensure a safe workplace for all whilst complying with the AS/NZS 4801 Safety standard and also ensure compliance with health, safety and welfare legal requirements including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice and industry best practice as a minimum level within all of our activities.

LS Quarry is committed to reducing workplace incidents and workplace illness and providing safe ways of working at every site.  To achieve this, we adhere to the following guiding principles at all LS Quarry sites:

1. Operate in compliance with applicable Health and Safety laws.
2. Conduct routine audits to assess organizational performance to expectations.
3. Ensure employees, contractors and visitors are properly trained and protected and have the proper supervision as is necessary to enable employees to perform their work in a manner that is safe and without risks to their health.
4. Apply a continuous improvement philosophy to mitigate operational risks.

QUALITY

LS Quarry has invested in an on-site NATA accredited laboratory staffed by qualified employees to sample and test products as they are produced in accordance with VicRoads, RMS and Australian Standards.
